Rib-Eye Steaks with Ginger and Garlic

A simple marinade gives these steaks incredible flavor.
½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
½ cup sliced green onions
¼ cup packed organic brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced (2 tsp.)
¼ tsp. ground ginger
¼ tsp. pepper
2 lb. grass-fed, free-range rib-eye steaks
- Combine soy sauce, onions, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and pepper in large resealable bag. Add steaks. Seal bag, and turn to coat steak with marinade. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
- Drain and discard marinade. Grill steaks, uncovered, over medium-high heat 8-10 minutes or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium rare: 145 F; medium: 160 F; well-done: 170 F).
