You may have asked yourself, “Are organic foods really any healthier than conventionally grown items?” Conflicting research had made this question hard to answer-until now. The debate over whether or not to go organic appears to be settled, thanks to new research published in the British Journal of Nutrition. Researchers found that organic fruits, vegetables, and other crops are indeed higher in antioxidants and contain fewer pesticide residues. This was the largest study of its kind to date on the advantages of organic over conventional foods.

Tea is hot. But what’s even hotter is certified organic tea. These sustainably produced, fair trade brews were among the top trends at BIOFACH 2014, an international organic product trade show.
