Animals Reduce Asthma in Kids

A decade-long study of 11 million children in Sweden found that being around dogs and farm animals early in life reduced rates of asthma by 13 and 50 percent, respectively. However, the researchers noted that kids who already have allergies to animals should not be exposed to them.
