Drinking pomegranate juice can help knees feel and function better, according to an Iranian study of 38 people with knee osteoarthritis that was published in the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture. In addition to reducing stiffness and improving joint movement, the juice raised levels of an internal antioxidant. Those in the study drank about 7 ounces (nearly 1 cup) of pomegranate juice daily for 6 weeks.
