- Fill a glass jar with dried and crumbled calendula petals.
- Cover them by an inch with a carrier oil, such as olive, almond, jojoba, or sunflower oil.
- Place the jar in a sunny spot for two or more weeks, shaking at least once per day to help extract the flowers’ healing properties.
- Drain petals from the oil and apply to skin as needed.
