One Multivitamin Dose Reduces Stress


Just one dose of a multivitamin can reduce stress, increase a sense of calm, and boost mood, according to an Australian study of 76 women between the ages of 50 and 75, published in the journal Age. Earlier studies found that taking a daily multi improved mental performance among older women after 16 weeks, and improved memory among men after 8 weeks. The multis in these studies contained a variety of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and plant extracts, designed for either women or men age 50 and older.
