This simple and delicious blend of holy basil and apples is the perfect antidote to stress. We used fresh holy basil leaves, but you can also use holy basil capsules—just break open one or two capsules and add the powder. If you like your smoothies cold and slushy, add ½ cup of ice.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unfiltered organic apple juice
- 1/4 frozen banana
- 1/4 cup fresh holy basil leaves
- 1 Tbs. chia seeds
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender or food processor, and blend until smooth. Drink immediately.
