Clear Skin Chai Tea Smoothie

This dairy-free smoothie supports liver and colon detox to help clear blemished skin from within. Ginger and cardamom enhance circulation to speed toxin removal, while omega-3 fats from flax oil and zinc from pumpkin seed oil reduce redness and inflammation.

Serves 2

1 ½ cups coconut milk
1 large frozen banana
1 to 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. grated ginger root (substitute 1/2 tsp. dried ginger)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
¼ tsp. cardamom, or to taste
Pinch of clove and nutmeg
1 tsp. flax oil
1 tsp. pumpkin seed oil
1 scoop rice and pea protein powder or

Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Serve immediately.
