Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk (try Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Chocolate, or milk of choice)
  • Zest and fruit of 1/2 medium naval orange (about 2 tsp. zest)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1–2 Tbs. organic cacao or cocoa powder
  • ½–1 frozen banana or a few drops of liquid stevia for extra sweetness, optional
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • Pinch sea salt
  • ¼ medium ripe Hass avocado, peeled

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except avocado in high-speed blender, and blend until smooth. Add avocado, and blend just until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.
